I’m in college therefore:
1. Pizza seems like a staple of my diet.
2. I’m worried about the Freshman 15… even though I’m no longer a freshman.
Given these two facts, I like to make my own pizza. It’s easy, quick, healthier, and fits into my budget better.
The List:
- The Pioneer Woman’s pizza crust
- Sausage
- Pizza Sauce
- Cheese
Yup that’s it! I love the precooked sausage that I’m using here when I’m short on time. It cuts out the step of browning the sausage and who knows what I can get done in my extra five minutes. Maybe make dessert…
1. Roll out the pizza crust onto your baking sheet. I pour a tiny bit of oil on the cookie sheet. You can make your pizza thin or thick crust. You can even add some cheese in the crust and make it a stuffed crust pizza. It’s your dinner, make it what you want!
2. Add your pizza sauce.
3. Add your cheese of choice. I use mozzarella for this pizza but I like to switch it up sometimes.
4. Add your sausage or ham or bacon. Whatever type you like the best.
5. I preheat the oven to 375 degrees and put the pizza in for about 15 minutes or until the crust looks done.
6. Enjoy!
